Love Your Heart by Tim McGraw with Tom Douglas

I just absolutely love this book! Love Your Heart is the second book in Tim McGraw's My Little Girl series. The book is wonderfully illustrated by Abigail Marble. It is a story about a little girl, Katie, trying to figure out what to do for her school talent show. Even though Katie worked very hard on her act for the Talent Show she decided to help a friend with her performance instead. This book beautifully showcases a child's selflessness and it reminds us of God's selflessness and love.

My 3 year old daughter wants me to read this book over and over. We have only had it a week and I already know the words by heart. It is a truly beautiful story.

Mom's Bible God's Wisdom for Mothers - Notes with Bobbie Wolgemuth

I really enjoyed the Mom's Bible. This bible has been a nice addition to my collection. It has wonderful little insights scattered throughout the Bible that help to strengthen a mother's relationship with God. It also reminds us how precious and important we are in God's plan for our family. The different sections are titled "Passing it On," Walking in Wisdom," "Moms in the Bible," "Wonderful Counselor," "Insights," and "Godly Character."

My favorite section was the "Moms in the Bible" section. I loved it because it highlighted all the mothers throughout the bible and it shows us how to walk closer with God and how to be a better Mother for our children.

The worst part of the bible was the translation, it was not what I am used to. It is the New Century Version. I think that I will keep using my regular bible for Church but keep this one handy at home for daily reading of the notes.

I Wish You Enough by Bob Perks

http://brb.thomasnelson.com/blogger/resources/9781404187634

I Wish You Enough
by Bob Perks is a wonderful little gift book. Bob takes 8 wishes and shows us how they can help us live a more contented and joyous life. Included with each wish are beautiful stories of everyday people that have enough.

I cried, I smiled, I laughed... I even hugged the book and thanked God for these little reminders. Because of the size of the book I expected a lot less - I am glad that I was wrong. This little book packs a lot of wisdom. Even before finishing the book I had a list of about 20 people that I wanted to give this book to. It is heartwarming and a book to keep..... I wish you enough!

The only disappointment was the few typos that I noticed - but we all do it.
